WELCOME to the Southern Collective Experience's FIRST poetry contest!
Women of Resilience: Time and again, women have shown tremendous resilience while overcoming hardship, be it personal, marital, financial, parental, medical, addiction, and personal self worth. In fact, the caverns women navigate to"find the light" are often deep, an brutal.
The Women of Resilience chapbook contest is a "women's only" competition.
The goal of the contest is to highlight not only the struggle, but a way to the light.
For this contest, submit 25 PAGES of poetry focused on those hardships: what gave you hope? What did you learn about yourself? What support system did you have in place? Where are you today? What advice can you pass-on to other women in hardship?
NOTE: DO NOT PUT IDENTIFYING INFORMATION IN YOUR SUBMISSION.
Submissions are only accepted through Submittable.
Submissions for this contest are accepted from 11/5/2019 to 03/31/2020.
Cost of submission is $25.00.
